Народ! Подскажите! Начала загораться на приборной панели лампочка
A/T TEMP. Т.е. как я понимаю перегрев трансмиссии.
Вчера ехал часа полтора по городу. Пробка не пробка, но как-то вяло.
Ни с того ни с сего опять загорелась. Остановился, постоял минут 10.
Больше не зажигалась.
Что это может быть. Может она еще о чем-то может сигнализировать?
Подскажите пожалуйста, может кто сталкивался?

больше она ни о чем, кроме температуры жидкости в АКПП, не сигнализирует.

PURPOSE
This bulletin introduces a new expanded A/T oil pan kit to correct a condition whereas the A/T overheat indicator activates under certain circumstances.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
SYMPTOM
The A/T overheat indicator may activate when the vehicle is driven under heavy load conditions such as high speed operation or trailer towing or when the transmission is over-filled.
NOTE: An A/T overheat condition is indicated differently on different model year Montero Sport vehicles: Refer to Fig. 1. 1999: The «N» (neutral) indicator lamp flashes approximately 2 times per second to indicate an A/T overheat condition. 2000 & 2001: 2WD models use the flashing «N» lamp as with the 1999 model, and 4WD models use the A/T Warning indicator (like the 1997-98 vehicles) to indicate an A/T overheat condition.
REMEDY
To correct this condition, install the new, expanded capacity A/T oil pan kit. This kit includes an expanded oil pan, a larger oil filter, and a lengthened ATF level gauge (dipstick).
AFFECTED VEHICLES
1999-2001 Montero Sport built before October 2, 2000 (up to and including VIN: 1P022934 with transmission #BH3293).
NOTE: The above production date and VIN information are approximations. The new A/T oil pan and related components were introduced at the factory beginning with September 21, 2000 transmission production (transmission #BH3294) [approximately October 2, 2000 vehicle production (beginning VIN: 1P022935)]. Be sure to check the transmission number to make sure it is earlier (or lower) than BH3293 before beginning repairs. Transmissions with numbers later (or higher) than BH3294 already have the new expanded oil pan kit. Proceed with service manual procedures for ATF overheating if a vehicle with a BH3294 or higher transmission number exhibits the A/T overheat indication.
PROCEDURE
If you determine that the vehicle is experiencing the ATF overheat condition described above, proceed with the following procedures for installing the expanded oil pan kit. Refer to section 23B in the service manual for additional assembly and disassembly information.
Drain the automatic transmission fluid (ATF). See Fig. 2.
Remove the oil level gauge and the oil level gauge/fill tube. See Fig. 3.
Remove the original oil pan and filter.
Install the new filter from the kit. Be sure to use the new O-ring (included in the kit) as shown in Fig. 4 Torque the oil filter securing bolts to 5.9 N.m (52 in-lb).
Referring to section 23B in the service manual (Transmission Overhaul), clean and install the magnets, then, using Mitsubishi sealant MR166584 (or equivalent), install the new oil pan from the kit. See Fig. 5. Torque the oil pan mounting bolts to 11 N.m (97 in-lb). See also Fig. 4.
CAUTION: Make sure the magnets are cleaned thoroughly before reinstalling.
Install the original oil level gauge/fill tube into the new oil pan. Be sure to use a new O-ring as shown in Fig. 6. Torque the fill tube mounting bolts to the correct value as shown.
CAUTION: Be sure to flush the transmission cooler tubes before filling the transmission and operating the vehicle.
Flush the cooler tubes. Refer to FLUSHING THE COOLER TUBES, in Section 23A in the service manual for complete instructions:

Add ATF. Insert the new, longer oil level gauge (dipstick) from the kit into the oil level gauge/fill tube and check the fluid level. Add more ATF if necessary to bring the level to the full mark when COLD.
Check the ATF level according to the following steps:
Drive the vehicle until the fluid temperature reaches the normal operating range (70-80 degrees C [158-176 degrees F])
NOTE: Use the MUT-II scan tool to check the ATF temperature. Refer to page 23A-43, ATF Temperature Sensor check, in the 1999 or 2000 Montero Sport service manual (MEDIC document Info. No. M2310- 132-0069-02).
Check that the fluid level is between the «HOT» marks on the new dipstick.
CAUTION: 1)When the ATF level is higher than the «HOT» mark on the dipstick, the ATF can overheat during driving, resulting in transmission damage. 2)If the ATF level is low, hydraulic pressure in the transmission will drop, resulting in delayed shifting and slipping of the internal clutches and brakes.
NOTE: The «COLD» mark is for reference only. The «HOT» mark is the standard area where correct ATF level is measured.
After confirming that the ATF level is correct, insert the new dipstick back into the oil level/fill tube and test drive the vehicle before returning to the customer.

A/TOIL TEMP — что это значит? (в машине Toyota)
Данный индикатор сообщает о высокой температуре масла АКПП, говорит о неисправности АКПП.
Дополнительная информация: индикатор сообщает о высокой температуре трансмиссии, которая может появиться из-за высокой нагрузки на коробку. Можно попробовать дать остыть, снизить нагрузку. Важно понимать — перегретое масло теряет свои качества, повышается износ присадок, масло темнеет, появляется запах гари.
Когда горит A/TOIL TEMP — машина может работать на очень низких оборотах, трястись. Но в 99% отображение индикатора A/TOIL TEMP сообщает о неполадках с коробкой. Даже если горит иногда, не постоянно — необходимо посетить сервисный центр.
Иногда лампочка гаснет с определенной попытки завести машину.
Один человек написал — лампочка горела даже после запуска двигателя, после движения гасла. Избавиться удалось путем замены масла АКП (желательно с промывкой сеточки). Индикатор должен гаснуть сразу после запуска двигателя.
Чаше всего решить проблему можно путем замены масла со снятием поддона автомата (внимательно проверить на наличие металлической стружки) и заменить фильтр.
Также проблема может быть в радиаторе, который плохо охлаждает. Можно попробовать промыть аккуратно водой зону, где стоят трубки АКПП.
На форуме нашел информацию, что кроме замены масла (рекомендуется использовать фирмы TOYOTA), желательно поменять фильтр АКПП + прокладку под него + прокладку поддона. Также стоит купить промывку АКПП, если ее залить — вся грязь уйдет в поддон.
В редких случаях виной всему может быть сам глючный датчик.

Загорелась вчера вечером красная лампа a.t.oil.temp. после достаточно активной езды в течение дня (с перерывами).
на приборке она предпоследняя, на сайте Димы Грязева она под номером 8
Индикатор высокой температуры в трансмиссии (загорается при сильной нагрузке на трансмиссию (вследствие чего разогрев трансмиссионного масла), поломке трансмиссии.
