Что такое фанфик
Слово фанфик произошло от кальки с английского fan fiction — «фанатская проза». По сути это выдуманная история про героев уже известного произведения: аниме, фильма, книги, сериала, игры. В основе некоторых фанфиков лежат оригинальные, нигде ранее не упоминавшиеся персонажи. Такие истории получили название «ориджинал»
Существуют также рассказы о реально существовавших или существующих людях. В сети можно встретить выдуманные истории про Леди Гагу, древнегреческих философов и даже Александра Пушкина.
Какие виды фанфиков существуют
Фанфики также делят по объёму: мини, миди, макси, драббл — короткий отрывок, описание сцены.
Любовные линии в фанфиках: как что называется
Многие фанатские истории фокусируются на любви между персонажами. Это называется пейринг — обозначение героев, которые участвуют в романтических отношениях, например Гарри и Гермиона. У некоторых классических пейрингов в рамках фандома появляются названия. Пару Драко Малфоя и Гарри Поттера традиционно называют Драрри.
Существуют истории, в которых романтика практически отсутствует, любовная линия не привлекает к себе слишком много внимания. Такие фанфики называются джен (general audience).
Ещё есть разделение на гет-фанфики — они фокусируются на любви персонажей разного пола, и слеш- и фемслеш-фанфики — они описывают однополые отношения.
Возрастные ограничения фанфиков
Фанфики и оригинал
Некоторые авторы фанфиков придерживаются канона — принципов оригинального произведения. Они дублируют характеры персонажей в своей истории, помещают героев в максимально вероятные для их вселенной события. Такие истории называются не-AU (не alternative universe, альтернативная вселенная).
Другие авторы вносят значительные изменения во внешность и поведение оригинальных персонажей. Они получили название AU (alternative universe) и OOC (out of character).
Где можно почитать фанфики
В России есть несколько крупных платформ для фанатских историй. Например, «Книга Фанфиков» (Ficbook) и Wattpad. Некоторые авторы создают для выдуманных историй собственные паблики или аккаунты в соцсетях.
Что делать, если ребёнок увлекается чем-то непонятным для родителя
Родителям свойственно беспокоиться за безопасность своих детей, это естественный природный механизм. Для начала узнайте больше о хобби ребёнка и оцените, насколько оно может объективно угрожать его жизни и здоровью.
Принятие увлечений ребёнка — это один из аспектов принятия его в целом.
Всё, к чему человек испытывает влечение, закрывает его определённую внутреннюю потребность. Писательство, например, можно считать одним из видов художественной психотерапии. Человек выплёскивает на бумагу множество своих чувств и переживаний. Так у него появляется больше шансов в них разобраться.
Подросткам особенно важна свобода самовыражения и личное пространство, поэтому лучшая тактика — дать пространство и возможность ребёнку выражать себя творческим способом.
Если у вас возникает мысль, что это хобби не принесёт пользы в будущем, и есть желание оградить ребёнка от этого, стоит задуматься: а всем ли вашим знакомым кажутся бесспорно привлекательными ваши собственные хобби? Будь то бильярд или разгадывание кроссвордов.
Что делать, если ребёнок пишет или читает фанфики и как с ним поговорить об этом
Искренность и уважение к увлечению ребёнка — лучший фон для подобного разговора. Можно начать беседу с вопросов вроде «В какой вселенной происходит действие? Кто главные герои, какие между ними отношения, чем они отличаются от канона?» И конечно же — «Почему тебе нравится писать об этом, какую идею ты хочешь донести?»
Спросите прямо, нужна ли помощь с публикациями. Например, материальная помощь для размещения материала в крупных пабликах, поиск информации, вычитка текста, обдумывание логичности сюжета. Делитесь с ребёнком своими эмоциями, если его работы вам искренне нравятся или вы видите прогресс в его писательских способностях.

Hurt/comfort
Hurt/comfort is a genre of fanfiction that heavily focuses on the interaction of a pair of characters; as the name suggests, one character is somehow hurt, and the other character provides comfort. Just as any genre of fanfic, it stands an equal chance to be good or bad.
The illuminating quality of hurt/comfort can be used to explore characterization. The ‘hurt’ character may exhibit a fall from grace, a personal weakness, or a flaw that they have paid for. The ‘comforting’ character may show the audience some hidden depth of their characterization, or show how they could relate to another person’s suffering.
The goal of hurt/comfort is to display characters overcoming conflict through the strength of a relationship, be it with a best friend, a family member, or a love interest. Many stories incorporate elements of hurt/comfort in them for this reason—overcoming or coping with conflict is the goal of most plots. Due to their single-facet nature, they are usually short: one-shots, vignettes, drabbles, or short stories (7500 words or less).

Hurt/Comfort Badfic [ ]
In a badfic, the idea of hurt/comfort becomes a plot device used to pair two characters together without any preexisting reason for them to connect. It forces them into specific roles, regardless of their normal characterization.
Additionally, the ‘hurt’ is often artificial or contrived, existing only to facilitate the interaction without actually having meaning for the characters in question. In the worst offenders, it doesn’t even stem from canon conflicts or established character flaws, but invented tragedies or afflictions.
Variations [ ]
Whump [ ]
Whump fics run the typical goodfic/badfic gamut, with poorly researched medical treatments/procedures being one of the most frequent chargeable offenses of whump badfic. A badly done whump!fic can easily necessitate the intervention of the DAVD. Good whump!fic can explore the extremes of human psyche and depict psychologically and medically plausible recoveries.
There tend to be one or two characters in each fandom that are most frequently targeted for whump, such as Colonel Sheppard in Stargate Atlantis, Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG-1, and Tony DiNozzo in NCIS. Although Supernatural is more even, Dean gets more than his fair share of whump in fanfic, like in canon.
If the term ‘whump’ did not begin with Stargate Atlantis fans, they have certainly used it most often with over 600 fics on FF.net labeled as such in their summaries, compared to just over 200 in the next most common category of Merlin. The term is much more common in TV show fanfics, with over 2,150 out of about 2,475 listed on FF.net being for television shows. Most of them outside TV shows are in the Marvel movieverse. Whump doesn’t have as many entries on AO3—less than 1,500.
Fluff/WAFF [ ]
While fluff is a genre of fanfiction in its own right, it often takes hurt/comfort format, but focusing on the comfort rather than the hurt. WAFF (standing for ‘warm and fuzzy feelings’) is another term for this genre.
