Зачем нужно знать относительную долю рынка
Относительная доля рынка является показателем конкурентоспособности в отрасли. Эта метрика помогает увидеть свою позицию в данный момент, узнать, насколько далеко она от ведущих конкурентов, и построить план дальнейшего продвижения.
Часто компании рассчитывают ее для построения матрицы Бостонской консалтинговой группы (англ. BCG matrix). Этот инструмент был разработан в конце 60-х годов для портфельного анализа. Матрица БКГ помогает выявить перспективные и бесперспективные товары или подразделения бренда. Она представляет собой две оси, между которыми расположены четыре сектора, как показано на рисунке ниже.
В каждом из квадратов располагаются товары в соответствии с темпами роста и особенностями развития. Для построения такой матрицы помимо относительной доли рынка рассчитывают еще темп роста рынка и объем продаж.
Как рассчитать относительную долю рынка
Относительную долю рынка можно рассчитать в натуральном или денежном эквиваленте. Для этого используйте следующую формулу.
Предположим, доля рынка вашей компании составляет 20%, а доля ведущего конкурента — 35%. Давайте рассчитаем относительную долю рынка:
Чем ближе показатель к 1, тем выше ваш уровень конкурентоспособности.
Рассчитывайте относительную долю рынка, чтобы отслеживать успешность продвижения бренда по сравнению с каждым отдельным конкурентом и собирать дополнительную информацию об абсолютной доле рынка. Эта метрика представляет собой соотношение объема продаж бренда и суммарного объема продаж других компаний. Знание относительной доли рынка позволяет повышать эффективность маркетинговой стратегии, шаг за шагом увеличивать абсолютную долю рынка и укреплять свои позиции в отрасли.
