Gameplay

In MC Championship, ten teams of four (later five) players compete in each event. These teams face off in a series of various mini-games focusing on a variety of core skills in Minecraft, including combat, parkour, survival and teamwork. Eight games are played, and then the two teams with the most coins go head to head in a final game to determine the winner, a 4v4 ranged combat game named Dodgebolt.

Decision Dome

Each mini-game is decided by the players through a voting process that takes place in the Decision Dome, a large dome with a wheel in the center. Each player is given an egg to throw into the section of the wheel that corresponds to the game they want to play. Additionally, players are randomly chosen to receive power-ups.

Minigames

There are a variety of mini-games in MCC, each focusing on a different aspect of Minecraft’s gameplay mechanics. These games include Ace Race, Battle Box, Big Sales at Build Mart, Bingo but Fast, Hole in the Wall, Parkour Tag, Parkour Warrior, Rocket Spleef, Sands of Time Sky Battle, Skyblockle, Survival Games, and TGTTOSAWAF. Games are rotated out for new ones as needed to keep things fresh. Sometimes games can change based on holidays or other special events.

Scoring

MCC uses coins to keep track of scores. These coins are individually earned by players in each game and pooled together through the entire team to calculate the team’s score. The value of coins multiplies as more games are played. Because of this, players often elect to save their best games for the end.

Dodgebolt

Dodgebolt is the last game played and is a two-team game. It is a final showdown between the top two teams and determines the event’s winner. The official website describes it as «an elimination game where the aim is to remain as the last team standing.»

The two teams are placed opposite to each other on the playing field, unable to cross into each other’s sides of the map. Two arrows drop at the start of the round to be picked up by players and used to shoot the opposite team. If a player is hit with an arrow once, they are eliminated for the turn.

Dodgebolt is played as a best of five game, and whoever reaches three wins first wins the event.

Dream SMP

The Dream SMP (formerly known as the Dream Team SMP), is a private, whitelisted survival multiplayer (SMP) Minecraft server played on by the Dream Team and their friends. It is famous for being a roleplay themed server with a mostly improvisational plot and a long history of alliances, wars, factions, eras, and characters.

Writing

Prior to the creation of L’Manberg, the storyline was not scripted. After L’Manberg’s creation and to the current date, the Dream SMP is comprised of «scripted improvisation,» where major plot points are pre-planned and the rest of the story improvised. [22] [23]

Wilbur Soot was the head writer for the L’Manberg Independence Arc and the Manberg Rebellion Arc. [24] He also received help from others (particularly Dream, who served as a secondary story writer for the Pogtopia vs Manberg arc). [25] On November 16, 2020, after Wilbur’s character officially died in the Manberg-Pogtopia War, Wilbur announced that he was stepping down to focus on personal projects. [26] [27] However, he has implied that he may resume his role in the future. [28]

Although many plot points are scripted, sometimes they do not play out as planned and the creators improvise instead, as seen during the Manberg Festival. [29]

It depends person to person. Techno definitely wouldn’t let me write him any differently but Tommy was pretty lenient in working alongside me as a character.

The three lives system did not exist during the L’Manberg Independence and Manberg Rebellion Arcs; Wilbur introduced it later on (after he had already stepped down as head writer). [31] [32] Creators determine whether or not deaths are canon based on their relevance to the plot, and often joke about how canon unplanned or accidental deaths are. On December 4, 2020, Wilbur released a Reddit post with the number of lives every character had. [33]

Following Wilbur’s announcement that he was stepping down from the head writer position, on December 3, 2020, Technoblade revealed on stream that he would be writing part of the script. Dream later clarified in a comment on TikTok that Techno was writing specifically for his character. Dream, Quackity, and Tommy would work on the major post-Manberg story arc, with input from Wilbur, Fundy, Tubbo, and other members. [34]

On January 30, 2021, Ranboo stated during a non-lore stream that each creator is writing their own character’s main story. He also reconfirmed that the writing process was collaborative. [35]

On February 21, 2021, Dream stated on Twitter that he and Tommy were the ones who wrote about Tommy’s current prison predicament, and have already fleshed out the plot. [36] Dream further talked about this on the Eboy’s Podcast saying that some of the events were written months in advance, while others were almost a day before decision. [37]

МСС устанавливается банком-эквайером – это банк, который обрабатывает платежи от имени продавца. Когда торговая точка начинает принимать карты к оплате, у неё появляется MCC, чтобы максимально близко охарактеризовать оказываемые услуги или реализуемые товары.

Как заработать на МСС?

Кэшбэк, который вы получаете по своей карте напрямую зависит от этого кода. Например, у вас по карте предусмотрен повышенный кэшбэк в ресторанах, вы идете на романтический ужин и рассчитываете, что вам придет хороший кэшбэк. Но вы можете его и не получить, если заведению присвоен другой МСС-код, например, фастфуд или бар.

Покупая там кофе и печеньку, вы не получите повышенный кэшбэк за общепит, т.к. банк будет видеть по МСС-коду, что эту покупку вы совершили в супермаркете.

И, наоборот. Допустим у вас по карте категория повышенного кэшбэка – супермаркеты. Вы планируете купить мелкую бытовую технику для дома, если вы ее купите в специализированных магазинах, вы не получите кэшбэк, а если в каком-нибудь гипермаркете, то кэшбэк будет приятным бонусом.

Как правило, банки в условиях тарифа карты или акций (бывает, что повышенный кэшбэк вводят временно) подробно прописывают не только категории, но и MCC. На некоторые категории может приходится сразу по несколько MCC-кодов.

Важно: ваш банк не виноват, если вы не получите кэшбэк из-за несоответствия МСС, и ругаться с ним бесполезно. Банк, который выпустил вашу карту, и банк, который назначил код торговой точке, никак не связаны. Поэтому лучше заранее узнавать, соответствует ли МСС магазина/кафе условиям начисления бонуса по вашей карте.

Наиболее точную информацию вам может предоставить только банк-эквайер. Но есть ещё несколько способов. Они попроще, но у каждого есть свои нюансы:

Спросить код в техподдержке магазина или на кассе. Казалось бы – это самый просто способ, но далеко не всегда вам будут готовы оперативно с этим помочь.

Код может подсказать ваш банк, если вы что-то ранее оплачивали в этом месте. Например, информация может отображаться в СМС или push-уведомлении об операции или в приложении банка можно просмотреть подробности об операции. Нюанс в том, что категория с прошлой операции может поменяться банком-эквайером, так что не советуем проверять MCC-код у совсем старых покупок.

Границы понемногу открываются, скоро длинные праздники – а что с МСС за границей? Хорошие новости – MCC одинаковые во всем мире. Некоторые можно проверить в базах, которые указаны выше (но помнить, что базы народные). Официальные полные справочники есть у Visa и Mastercard, раз-два в год эти PDF-файлы обновляются.

Michaelmcchill, also known as Michael, is one of the newest members, at thirty fourth, on the Dream SMP, who joined on May 16, 2021.

Physiology

Michael appears as a human with light skin, black eyes and black hair (from Runescape). He wears a Hunter’s Bandoleer, black pants with kneepads, and black shoes.

History

Empowerment Arc

Joining the server

Michael logged on for the first time on the Dream SMP on May 16, 2021. Michael met Philza who told him not to head down to the Egg and then walked around the server. Later, Michael got a tour around the server from Foolish Gamers. He visited almost every major place on the Dream SMP. Michael confirmed that he is known for being destructive. He did various things, including «peeing» on Schlatt’s grave, breaking a piece of grass that he claims should never have been broken, and pretending to be Dream. He also met CaptainPuffy and visited a graveyard.

L’Sandberg

Michael was asked by Foolish and Puffy if one of the turtles on L’Sandberg’s ‘Shelly x Sheldon Forever Island’ should be sacrificed due to it being «illegal land.» Though Michael was hesitant, he agreed after learning about Foolish’s death during the Red Banquet.

Breakout attempt

On May 27, Dream made contact with Michael through the chat, and Dream begged for him to break him out of Pandora’s Vault. Michael agreed, and Dream sent him the coordinates of the prison, warning that Awesamdude would take all three of his canon lives if he was caught. Michael tried to get milk to bypass the mining fatigue but Dream said that would not work. Michael broke three blocks of the prison, however Sam joined the game and confronted Michael. Michael tried to flee the scene as Sam sent him death threats, stating that the only reason Michael would be allowed to live was because he didn’t understand the gravity of what he was trying to do, and warned him that if he ever went near the prison again he would take all of Michael’s canon lives. Dream told Sam to kill Michael and Michael lied saying that he only wanted the blocks of the prison. Sam then left and Michael told Dream that he would be back, and Dream called Michael his hero. Michael said his goal is to break Dream out of the prison, and that unlike GeorgeNotFound he will be successful. Sam confronted Michael, this time through VC, after Michael stole blocks from Sam’s bank. Sam says that the reason why Dream had not been broken out was because he was the guardian, but Michael says that Sam was not guarding the prison. Sam once again warned Michael that he would take all of his canon lives if he ever touched the prison again and to be mindful of who he was stealing from. He mentioned that there were 8 more layers of obsidian and that Michael had tripped an alarm.

Tour of Las Nevadas

On June 6, 2021, Quackity offered to tour Michael around Las Nevadas. Michael did not respond in time, leading to Quackity jokingly saying the invite had expired and asking Puffy instead. Michael and Puffy pleaded for Michael to join the tour and Quackity finally allowed him. BadBoyHalo and Skeppy joined them at McPuffy’s/McSkeppy’s before the tour. Michael also jumped in at the Punzo Chunk before they arrived in Las Nevadas. Michael toured the country and later forced Bad inside of Quackity’s strip club, after he tried to escape. Quackity tried to «apologize» for the «bad experience» and got Michael to take off his netherite armor after he confused him for Puffy. Quackity leads Michael to the back, and tried to jokingly mug him, but Michael re-armed himself and was able to escape. Michael spent a while with the group before separating and building a statue at Las Nevadas.
