Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) Crew & Technical Management
OSM can provide Technical Management for your Offshore Support Vessels, as well as Recruit and Manage the Crew for them. Finally, we can provide you with OSERV Provisions and Catering Management.
Anchor Handling Tug Supply (or AHTS ) vessels are very powerful ships normally seen working with Offshore installations, such as a Drilling unit or even a Semi-Submersible Rig. AHTS vessels have crane-like equipment (known as “the winch”) that can be attached to the installations and then propelled forth in the water. The “anchor supply” mentioned as a part of the vessel’s name, is then allowed to be sunk into the water in order to keep the installations steady. They also provide towing assistance during tanker loading, deep-water anchor handling, and towing of threatening objects. AHTS vessels sometimes also serve as Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels (ERRVs) and as supply transports.
The Platform Supply Vessel (or PSV ) is an OSV specially designed to supply oil and gas platforms at the sea with logistic support. Platform Supply Vessels also transport goods, tools, equipment, and personnel to and from offshore oil and gas platforms, and other structures.
The Cable Laying Vessel is a ship designed to lay cables underwater for telecommunications, electric power transmission, or other purposes. There are two main types of cable ships: cable repair ships and cable-laying ships.
The Seismic vessel is used as a survey vessel for the purpose of pinpointing and locating the best possible subsea area for oil or/and gas drilling. The Seismic is a vessel mapping out geological structures in the seabed by firing air guns transmitting sound waves into the bottom of the sea. The echo of the shot is captured by listening devices/hydrophones being towed behind the vessel. In addition to being vessels that survey underwater seismology, seismic vessels are also used to study the geology of the oceans and seas.
The Multi Purpose Supply Vessel (or MPSV ) is what its name says: an offshore support vessel for multiple purposes; an MPSV can perform a range of activities including supply duties, lifting operations, ROV and survey activities, platform and SPM maintenance, diving, light well intervention and accommodation support.
Offshore Units Crew & Technical Management
OSM can provide Technical Management for your Offshore Units/Vessels, as well as Recruit and Manage the Crew for them. Finally, we can provide you with OSERV Provisions and Catering Management.
The Floating Production Storage and Offloading (or FPSO ) unit is a floating vessel (or facility) used by the offshore oil and gas industry. It is equipped with hydrocarbon processing equipment for the separation and treatment of crude oil, water and gases. An FPSO vessel is designed to receive hydrocarbons produced from its wells, nearby platforms, or subsea equipment. After processing, an FPSO stores oil or gas before offloading periodically to shuttle tankers or transmitting processed petroleum via pipelines. A vessel used only to store oil, without being processed, is referred to as a Floating Storage and Offloading (or FSO ) vessel. Consequently, for gas storage the offshore unit used is called Floating LNG Gas Storage Unit (or FSU ).
The Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (or MODU ) or just “Drilling Unit” is a unit modified or designed to be used in the exploration and drilling operations of oil and gas in the sea. These Units are large industry facilities that carry out the mission of exploring (via drilling), extracting, storing and processing oil and gas they unearth from deep below the seabed.
An Accommodation Platform is a “flotel”, which supports living quarters for offshore personnel. The Accommodation Platforms are often associated with the Oil and Gas industry, although other industries use them as well, such as the Wind Farm industry.
The Cargo Transfer Vessel is a relatively new type of Offshore Unit that transfers hydrocarbons directly from a Floating Production Storage and Offloading Unit (FPSO) to a conventional Suezmax-class tanker or VLCC. A Cargo Transfer Vessel represents a more cost-effective and faster alternative to Dynamic Positioning Shuttle Tankers (DPSTs), which until now have been vital in transferring crude oil from FPSOs to export Tankers, in difficult sea conditions.

Знает ли кто-то что-то интересное об этой фирме? Знаю, что в основном эксплуатируются контейнеровозы и ро-ро. Как зарплата и как с карьерным ростом, если начинать от них кадетом?
ДСД, прости, я что-то не совсем понял — это тебе столько фирм предлагает уйти в рейс? С опытом работы один рейс кадетом. На всякий случай уясни для себя, что если фирма размещает свою РЕКЛАМУ где бы то ни было, это вообще никак не означает, что там появятся свободные места в ближайшие несколько месяцев. Раскидывай аппликашки и жди КОНКРЕТНЫХ предложений, а вот когда они появятся, то потенциальные работодатели сами тебе все объяснят.

да,они переехали, у меня знакомый уходил через них, хорошая компания, отзывы положительные, пойду к ним весной насобеседование)
Подправил адрес. Кстати, прочитал в их рекламе: Работая на судах OSM вы имеете интернет в каждой каюте. Думаю это большой плюс, когда есть возможность ежедневного общения с семьей.

Понабирали контейнера.и срядовыми работают. Но,народу много скопилось.
Узнал,что контейнера передают в другой менеджмент,зарплату понизили.
OSM,сама по себе-компания серьёзная,но в Одессе работает,по сути,её франшиза.Группа автомобилевозов,действительно имеет норвежские структуры контроля и управления,но там всё занято.Группа оффшоров уже с миру по нитке,там всякие есть,и вакансий немного.А вот балкера,что вам скорее всего предложат в Одессе,по сути,принадлежат индусам из Golden Ocean.Со всеми прелестями их менеджмента-с крохоборским снабжением, диким количеством бумажной бюрократии при весьма скромных окладах и полном отсутствии бонусов.Практически всех задерживают на борту.Рост в должности-через три контракта,это правило индусов.Все одесские обещания-лажа.
Абсолютно с вами согласен, Федор. У меня 4 промоушенов, и 3 контракта, только обещания и ничего по факту. Работаю 3 мех. с дипломом 2 мех.
Прошел слух,что на автомобилевозах хотят сделать контракты по 8 месяцев.
