What are the festival dates?
The festival starts on Wednesday, July 6th and ends in the early hours of Saturday morning, July 9th, 2022.
Where is the festival?
The festival will take place on Praia da Rocha beach inPortimão, The Algarve, Portugal. Praia da Rocha is one of the most popular beaches in The Algarve and is about an hour’s drive away from Faro International Airport.
What age do I have to be?
Rolling Loud Portugal is an 18+ only event and you will need ID to prove your age to guarantee entry. To purchase alcoholic beverages at the festival you must be over 18.
How do I become a vendor at Rolling Loud Portugal?
If you would like a concession at the festival, please fill out the contact form below with as much info as possible about what it is you do and where you’re based.
Tickets & Entry
What is the difference between 1st and 2nd release tickets?
There is no difference between ticket tiers other than the price. As more ticket tiers are released, they go up in price, therefore the sooner you buy your ticket, the more you will save!
What does General Admission mean?
General admission tickets include three-day access to the main festival area.
What’s included with a VIP ticket?
VIP tickets include access to the main area, a dedicated VIP area with a private bar and fast-track entry into the fe stival site. Note: Drinks and private tables are not included in the ticket price.
Can I upgrade my ticket?
We are unable to offer ticket upgrades
Are there any table packages available?
Table packages will become available nearer the festival event dates. If you would like to register your interest, please email us pt@rollingloud.com
When will I receive my festival ticket?
At this stage you should only have your booking confirmation. E-Tickets will be sent out 1-2 weeks prior to the festival event dates.
Can I buy a single day ticket?
Single day tickets are not available at this time.
Can I buy a ticket on behalf of a friend or relative?
Yes, you must input your friends name and details when purchasing the ticket
Can I buy my ticket from Viagogo or other third-party sellers?
Tickets on third party websites are not valid or genuine. To ensure you are buying a genuine ticket please follow the links on our website.
How do I get in touch with Festicket support?
You can contact Festicket support here. https://support.festicket.com/hc/en-us/requests/new Please ensure you reply to the automated response in order to escalate your issue with them.
How can I change my personal details on my booking?
There are no name changes available on ticket purchases. To make changes to your booking i.e. email, address, card details etc. Please contact your ticket provider directly.
Where do I get my festival wristband?
You can pick up your festival wristband from the festival accreditation area on-site. Opening times for accreditation will be disclosed in your festival info pack which you will receive closer to the festival dates.
What do I need to bring to guarantee entry?
Please bring your ticket, the card you purchased the ticket with and valid photo identification. Please note that the name on your ticket must match your identification.
What constitutes a valid photo ID?
Photographic forms of identification such as a passport or driving licence are acceptable.
Can I cancel or sell my ticket?
All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. We are unable to offer any refunds for tickets no longer needed.
What happens if I lose my wristband?
Wristbands will only be issued once. Broken or lost wristbands cannot be replaced so please look after them.

Accommodation & Flights
Where should I book my accommodation?
As the Algarve is such a sought-after tourist destination, there is a vast selection of quality hotels, villas, and apartments to choose from. We recommend staying in the following areas to be close to the festival: Praia Da Rocha, Portimao, Alvor, Carvoeiro, Lagoa
Is there camping available?
Rolling Loud Portugal is a non-camping festival.
How can I change the details on my hotel booking?
Please contact your accommodation provider directly to make changes to your booking i.e. arrival/departure time, length of stay, personal details etc.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in and check-out times for hotels, villas and apartments vary. Please contact your accommodation directly.
How can I safely store belongings?
Most hotels come with safety deposit boxes in the rooms, but some require a nominal fee for their use. Check with your accommodation when booking for information.
Which airport should I fly into?
Faro International Airport is the closest airport to the festival, it can be reached from most major European, Caribbean, American and African airports, with both direct and non-direct flights.

Are there cash machines on site?
There are cash machines across Portimao where you can withdraw Euros.
What currency do I need to bring?
The official currency used is the Euro, which can be bought easily at the bank, the post office or at the airport.
What is the local language?
The main language spoken in Portugal is Portuguese.

Festival Rules
Can I bring food and drink into the festival?
No food or drink will be allowed into the festival site however you may bring an empty hydration pack and fill it up and one of the many water stations available to you at the festival.
There will be a wide range of food and drink available to purchase inside the festival.
Can I bring a bag into the festival?
Bags equal to or smaller than an A4 sheet of paper are allowed. We strongly encourage the use of clear (see through) bags in order help speed up the entry process for everyone attending.
Can you bring cameras into the festival?
Professional cameras (with interchangeable lenses) without an approved photo pass are not permitted.
Can I sell merchandise at the festival?
We reserve the right to confiscate any items you are selling without our approval.
Rolling Loud
Rolling Loud is an annual touring hip hop music festival held in the United States. The festival was founded in 2015 by music promoters Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif. [1]

History
The festival was founded by Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif. The two first met in high school and began organizing and promoting small music events together. [2] [3] They founded Rolling Loud in 2015, with the first festival taking place in Miami, Florida. [2] As of 2018, the festival also had locations in San Francisco, and plans to host festivals in New York City, London, Japan, China, Mexico, Australia and Croatia had been announced. [4]
The inaugural Rolling Loud music festival took place in February 2015 in Miami, FL, and featured artists such as Schoolboy Q, Juicy J, Currensy, and Action Bronson. [2]
The Rolling Loud music festival in Miami took place between May 11 and May 13, 2018. On January 31, 2018 the lineup of artists for the festival was announced. The event was headlined by J. Cole, Travis Scott, Future, and Rick Ross. The roster also included Cardi B, Migos, Gucci Mane, Machine Gun Kelly, and Cupcakke. [5] In May 2018 it was announced that Revolt TV would be livestreaming the event, and that they were releasing a documentary on the festival on May 5, 2018. [6]
The first Rolling Loud festival to take place outside of the United States took place at the Olympic Park Stadium in Sydney, Australia on January 27, 2019. [7]
On January 27, 2020 Rolling Stone announced the lineup for the 2019 Rolling Loud festival. The event was headlined by Post Malone, ASAP Rocky, and Travis Scott. Other scheduled artists included Megan Thee Stallion, Swae Lee, and Lil Pump. [8]
The Rolling Loud festival in Miami took place from May 8 to May 10, 2019. [9] The festival was disrupted by false reports of an active shooting, and Florida rapper Kodak Black did not arrive for his scheduled set due to being arrested off-site on a weapons charge during the festival. [10] A number of rapper-related shootings took place around the festival, including the shooting of rapper NBA YoungBoy’s alleged girlfriend. Rapper Lil Wayne announced that he would no longer be attending the festival after it became mandatory to be searched by police before performing. [11]
In July 2019, the roster for Rolling Loud was announced, and the festival was scheduled to take place between October 12 and October 13. [12] On October 12, 2019 it was reported that five rappers, Casanova, Pop Smoke, Sheff G, Don Q and 22Gz, were being removed from the New York festival’s lineup at the request of NYPD. The NYPD stated that they felt the rappers were a security risk and likely to incite violence. [13] The decision to remove the artists from the roster and only inform them two days after the decision had been made drew backlash from both fans and performers. [14]
2020-2021
The festival was originally scheduled to take place from May 8 to May 10, 2020, but was rescheduled for February 10 to February 12, 2021 in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. According to Billboard magazine, the festival planned to have the same roster of artists in 2021. [15]

STATEMENT FROM ROLLING LOUD REGARDING ROLLING LOUD PORTUGAL 2020
Once again, thank you for being so patient with us. Out of concern for the health and safety of our fans, artists, staff and local communities, and in accordance with last week’s directive from the Government of Portugal, Rolling Loud Portugal 2020 is officially postponed and rescheduled for July 6-8, 2021 at Praia da Rocha.
This was a tough, but necessary call to make—Portugal is an incredibly important market for us. For months and months we had been looking forward to raging with all of you from around the world at our first-ever European edition of Rolling Loud.
Clearly, this is not a course of action we had hoped to take, but rest assured Rolling Loud Portugal will be back next year and our team has already been coordinating with all parties involved to make Rolling Loud Portugal 2021 even better.
All tickets purchased for this year’s event will be honored and rolled over along with the line-up to next year’s event—about which we hope to have more exciting details to share soon. Please find below important information regarding ticket, event and travel information.
As we look towards the future, please stay safe! We will get through this in no time so we can all rage on the beach together and experience the world’s largest hip-hop festival.
WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE FESTIVAL AND TICKETS?
Rolling Loud Portugal 2020 is officially postponed and rescheduled for July 6-8, 2021 at Praia da Rocha due to the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic on communities across the world.
In response to the pandemic, the Portuguese Government (along with many other countries) has passed many emergency laws and legislation to protect the survival of the industries that make up its economy and the rights of the consumer.
We are following the Government directive provided in Decree-Law DL 10I/2020 and are postponing Rolling Loud Portugal to the new rescheduled dates of 6th, 7th and 8th of July 2021. All purchased tickets will be automatically transferred for the rescheduled dates. If you can no longer attend the rescheduled dates, you will have the opportunity to resell your ticket via our primary ticket agent. In the coming weeks, our primary ticket agent will provide all ticket purchasers with further details on how to resell your ticket.
WHAT ABOUT FLIGHTS AND HOTELS?
If you booked through our official provider Festicket, they will contact you by email within 24 hours with more information.
This is in the interest of protecting ticket purchasers who have booked accommodation from all over the world.
In addition to this we have been working with the hoteliers in the Portimao region, to come up with the best solution for our ticket purchasers. The hotels below have agreed in addition to the government recommendations to allow Rolling Loud ticket purchasers to transfer the same room, for the same number of nights for the same cost to the 2021 show dates.
To take advantage of this, please contact your original booking provider and let them know you wish to move your booking to the 2021 Rolling Loud dates. Once the hotel has been contacted, they will ask for proof of your original festival ticket booking. Please send the festival ticket confirmation you received from your ticket provider, and the hotel will confirm your booking:

WHY NOT POSTPONE TO LATER IN 2020?
Though it is hoped that the current situation will not last long, there can currently be no guarantee as to when it will be safe to operate a festival of this scale. By the autumn, the emergency services may still be stretched and there could still be restrictions on travel. Your safety is our priority and the reason we have decided to postpone until summer 2021.
