Что такое ableton live

Десятая версия популярной программы Ableton Live была анонсирована еще осенью прошлого 2017 года, однако полноценный релиз состоялся лишь сейчас, в феврале 2018 года. До этого времени новая версия находилась на этапе бета-тестирования, в котором приняло огромное количество пользователей со всего мира. Текущее обновление программы Ableton Live достаточно крупное и нацелено, главным образом, на удобство работы. В десятую версию добавили множество самых разнообразных возможностей, облегчающих творческий процесс, от элементарного изменения цветовой гаммы интерфейса, до совершенно новой функции захвата CAPTURE.

Так или иначе, все известные и популярные музыкальные программы заимствуют друг у друга наиболее востребованные возможности и функции. Безусловно, для всего профессионального сообщества это идет лишь на пользу, так как не смотря на совершенно различные концепции, позволяет пользователю с привычным удобством работать в разных приложениях. Тем не менее говорить об универсальности и взаимозаменимости, увы, не приходится, существующие программы пока еще отличаются значительно.

Основная часть новых возможностей программы Ableton Live 10 связана с оптимизацией рабочего процесса и, главным образом, повторяет успешные наработки других известных DAW. Однако это не делает текущее обновление менее интересным, скорее наоборот, говорит об адекватности разработчика и правильном направлении развития программы.

Итак, перейдем непосредственно к новой версии программы Ableton Live 10. Как и прежде, программа доступна в трех вариантах: Intro, Standard и Suite, которые отличаются возможностями и стоимостью. В приведенной сравнительной таблице перечислены основные отличия этих версий.

Производитель начиная с текущей версии Ableton Live 10 полностью отказывается от 32-битных версий программы, даже в урезанном варианте Ableton Live Intro. Это связано с ограничением операционной системы использования в 32-битных приложениях 4 ГБ оперативной памяти. Превышение использования этого объема неминуемо приводит к падению программы. Видимо, производитель устал в техподдержке отвечать на одни и те же вопросы и просто прекратил поддержку 32-битных версий своей программы. При использовании в 64-битной версии эксклюзивных или раритетных 32-битных плагинов производитель рекомендует воспользоваться адаптерами jBridge или 32 Lives.

В первую очередь, необходимо отметить изменения в дизайне программы. Особенно эффективно это повлияло на режим Arrangement. Секвенсор Ableton Live 10 теперь имеет более общепринятый и традиционный вид, с привычным отображением всех групп и треков. По умолчанию автоматизация не отображается на дорожке и вызывается отдельной командой для всех треков. А вот Fade In и Fade Out наоборот стали всегда доступными для каждого сегмента аудио дорожки и редактируются привычным способом.

Из наиболее интересного следует упомянуть об использовании нового шрифта Ableton Sans, а также новых пресетах цветового оформления оболочки программы и более богатом выборе цветовых оттенков для треков. Также в новой версии была решена проблема некорректного масштабирования на дисплеях с ультравысоким разрешением.

Работа в проектах с автоматизацией стала более гибкой и совершенной. Существенно улучшилась навигация, в частности стали доступны привычные по многим аналогичным программам гибкие возможности масштабирования и перемещения по треку. Стала доступным возможность одновременного редактирование нескольких MIDI-треков. А перетаскивание какого либо фрагмента MIDI- и Аудио-трека в пустое поле создает идентичную дорожку со всеми наложенными на нее эффектами и задействованной автоматизацией. Все это наконец-то мы увидели и в Ableton Live 10.

В новой версии программы Ableton Live 10 появилась очень интересная функция Capture, позволяющая захватить MIDI- события, сыгранные на MIDI-контроллере и импортировать их в проект синхронизируя с темпом. Приведенный видеоролик хорошо иллюстрирует возможности данной функции.

В левом верхнем углу появилось новое меню Collections, позволяющее создать до 7 дополнительных пользовательских закладок, в которые можно помещать семплы, инструменты, эффекты и папки для быстрого доступа к ним. До этого момента в программе полностью отсутствовала система рейтинга или пользовательской сортировки. Появившиеся маркеры позволяют сгруппировать в отдельные категории наиболее важные и часто используемые эффекты, семплы или инструменты. В современных условиях, когда объемы используемого материала и инструментарий увеличиваются с каждым днем это особенно важно.

Очень важно, что теперь Max for Live полностью интегрирован в программу и для его работы не требуется производить никаких дополнительных установок. Среди эффектов всегда доступны Effect Envelope Follower, LFO и Shaper, а из инструментов представлена серия ударных DS.

В текущем обновлении программы появилось несколько новый инструментов. В их числе созданный разработчиками Ableton таблично-волновой синтезатор Wavetable. В его основе лежат два модифицируемых осциллятора с большим количеством различных форм волны и дополнительный саб осциллятор. Синтезатор интересен простым и наглядным управлением всех имеющихся настроек, использованием интересных фильтров и матрицы модуляции. Примеры звучания можно найти на сайте производителя.

Кроме этого были добавлены три новых эффекта.

Эффект Echo эмулирует звучание классических аналоговых и цифровых аппаратных дилеев. Эффект может похвастать большим количеством дополнительных параметров и настроек, позволяющих использовать Echo в художественных целях.

Эффект Drum Buss представляет собой специализированный компрессор для ударных, с возможностью насыщения спектра гармониками, в том числе и в низкочастотной области. Эффект Pedal эмулирует гитарные педали с характерным звучанием Overdrive, Distortion и Fuzz. Аудио примеры всех вариантов обработки в новых эффектах доступны на сайте производителя.

Были расширены возможности метронома. Из контекстного меню теперь можно изменить звук и количество долей, а также появился новый режим метронома, работающий только во время записи.

Из наиболее интересных изменений новой версии следует также выделить возможность переименовывания аппаратных выходов и входов звукового устройства. Долгожданный экспорт в MP3 и FLAC. Сохранение истории undo даже после сохранение проекта и возможность бэкапа проектов, правда в ручном режиме при сохранении проекта. Время открытия больших проектов сократилось в несколько раз, благодаря оптимизаци загрузки семплов и графической составляющей. Кроме этого было добавлено много новых возможностей для работы в программе с помощью фирменного контроллера Ableton Push 2. В частности была добавлена возможность конвертации аудио в MIDI, с помощью кнопки Convert. Назначение цветных меток корневой папки из браузера, возможность перемещения трека одной рукой, режим Split Stereo Pan Mode. Добавлена визуализация встроенных в Live инструментов, включая Wavetable и новые эффекты. Также был добавлен новый режим отображения секвенсора, переключатель лупов и много другое.

Выводы

Мы перечислили далеко не все изменения, произведенные в новой версии программы Ableton Live 10, и постарались заострить внимание на наиболее значимых. В целом, текущее обновление получилось довольно интересным и направлено, в первую очередь, на удобство и облегчение творческого процесса. Тем не мене на ряду с массой небольших улучшений и доработок программа Ableton Live 10 получила долгожданную интеграцию с Max for Live, обновленную библиотеку, новые эффекты и инструменты, а также превосходную функцию Capture.

Ableton Live 10 по прежнему остается наиболее популярной и доступной программой c уникальными высококлассными возможностями, успешно используемыми при создании музыки и живых выступлениях. Последнее обновление лишь укрепляет позиции DAW, как профессионального приложения. Ableton Live

«Ableton Live» — программное обеспечение для диджеев и музыкантов.
